Important Announcements

Registration and first day of classes for the 2010-2011 IWS school year will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Sunday 9/18, the school is not available, so a week off.

IWS will be holding a Back to School Parent Meeting on September 25^th from 11:00 to 11:30 AM in the Westland MS auditorium. We urge all parents to attend and participate in this event, as important information will be shared regarding this year’s approach to curriculum and teachers as well as an opportunity for exchange of information between parents and IWS administration staff.

Arabic language Activities for your child this summer

Please use this following link to register your child for the summer Arabic tutoring.
The fees for website access and a one on one lesson one time a week is $50 a month.
For the same website access but 2 students for the lesson with the teacher is $35/month per child.

Past Inventions by muslims : Golden Ages

IWS supports a local Shelter for Muslim Women and Children in Baltimore.

They are in dire need of food. Below is a list of food supplies needed. We
will be delivering food to them on a regular basis, so bring your
donation to IWS on any Sunday. Perishable items will be refrigerated
and delivered the next day.

Juice, Milk, Chicken- Halal if possible, Meat-Halal if possible, Fish,
Butter, Cheese, Onions, Canola Oil, Bread, Sugar, Coffee, Breakfast
items: bagels, cream cheese, pop tarts, cereal, Pasta, Vegetables (green
beans, potatoes, carrots, sweet peas, greens), Fruits, Lettuce, Canned
and fresh tomatoes, Salad dressing, Spices, Aluminum foil, Plastic wrap
and Containers to store food
